Snow Day

About the author: Hi, I’m Nicole DiBella, your Lawrenceville Doula. I bring to you knowledge, support, and resources as you experience this new adventure in life. I want you to believe in you as much as I do!

So, my Mother and Sister arrived this morning just a few hours before the snow started to fall. Since falling snow in this area means ‘change of plans’ we decided NOT to go shopping and to instead go get some yummy groceries and hang out at the house, especially since Marlowe’s Daddy was home with us, too! We had a nice family dinner (Tex Mex Porkloaf w/ Southwest Corn-recipe below) and Marlowe had so much fun playing with Gigi and Auntie Shantie. Now we are all unwinding, and feverishly re-scheduling our weekend…

That said- tomorrow’s Baby Signs Parent Workshop is being postponed until next week. If you have already registered you can still join us at 1pm at The Natural Baby. If you have not registered or had something else scheduled for tomorrow that prevented you from attending, here is your second chance! Please contact me if you’d like to attend the Parent Workshop next Sat. Feb. 20 @ 1pm. Enrollment is $50 and includes the awesome Parent Kit. I have 4 kits still available for this workshop. The Parent Workshop is a great way to get started with the Baby Signs Program and begin communicating with your baby at home.

As far as I can tell, our Hypnobabies class #5 is still on. If anything changes I will be sure to let you know!

Enjoy your ‘snow’ day and don’t forget to get warm with your hunny this weekend (Sunday is Valentine’s Day, silly!).
