Practicing Hypnobabies with a toddler…

Considering joining a Hypnobabies class? Wondering how  to commit 35-45 minutes each day to Hypnobabies practice with a toddler running around? Here are a few suggestions from other Hypno-Moms that have been there & done that!

  • I always did my practice after the kids went to bed. Or if my husband took
the kids out so I could have some alone time I made sure I did some sort of
    hypnosis practice.
  • I did mine while the toddler napped or if I was really desperate to get my
practice in, I’d turn the tv on for him.
  • I did Hypnobabies with two toddlers! My twins were 2 years old. I would do my cds during nap time or after their bedtime. I only had to stop a few times due to toddlers not falling asleep as quick as I thought they did. So, I started waiting about 35 minutes after I put them down with no noise coming from their room. It worked out great for me!
  • I, too, did my Hypnobabies Home Study with a baby and older toddler in the house. My main time to do the scripts was at night, as naptime was my scheduled and much needed “working in our home office” time. It worked out fabulously – so
don’t hesitate to share the ease of the program to your momma! It’ll work out just fine! Also having daddy in the picture to help with the kiddos on some of those days would be a great idea if that is possible.
  • I would sometimes do them during nap-time. If I get to have another hypnobaby, I’ll have non napping kids, so then I’d definitely have to do the after they go to bed. Honestly, we make time for what we deem important. And it was really important to me.
  • One of the best ways to help this situation, and the reason it was created
is the Toddler Sleepy-Time track since Hypnobabies does not advocate listening to
Hypnobabies tracks when your attention is needed in caring for children that
are awake. Hypnobabies practice can be done when children are napping or
asleep at night, and the Toddler Sleepy-Time track helps little ones not
only develop a regular, predictable sleep routine, it also helps them fall
asleep on their own if that is what is desired, and feel confident and
secure being in their own space as they sleep.

So, there seems to be a common theme here : Naps are your friend 🙂

What about you? Did you take your Hypnobabies class with a toddler in the house? How did you manage? Please share your ideas and tricks!
